I provide online and in person coaching for clients all across Australia and the world. Throughout my life I’ve personally over come many obstacles and frustrations while searching for a way to live a healthy, fulfilling and balanced lifestyle. During my journey and due to the challenges I over came, I established a very unique understanding of the difficulties every day people are facing. I personally experienced yo-yo dieting and following fad diets and short term fixes that were simply not lifestyle friendly nor sustainable or educational. It gave me a passion to help share my experience and acquired knowledge with others and give them the opportunity to grow and reach their true potential.

Gaining and losing pregnancy weight.

I used to struggle severely with body image and weight obsession for years.

I was diagnosed with anorexia and bulimia at 20 and recovered by the age of 23.
I was so obsessed with the scale it almost killed me.

I’ve been a whopping 41kg lighter when I was anorexic to when I was pregnant — 45kg > 86kg.

It started when I was:

55kg at 15>
70kg at 18>
45kg at 20 >
56kg at 21 >
70kg at 24 >
65kg at 26>
58kg > 69kg > 59kg to 67kg at 27 >
63kg > 67kg > 59kg > 67kg at 28 >
75kg at 30 >
86kg while pregnant at 31>
86kg postpartum >
66kg a year after having my baby>

Happily maintaining now for 8 months straight.

And the most valuable lesson I’ve learned?

Is that it is not the size of the dress nor your body weight that matters.

But how you feel when you’re wearing the dress…

With time, I finally found a way to love myself through all of my stages.

Because it was my thoughts and words to myself, which determined my worth.

And I CHOSE to feel beautiful in each phase.

I felt sexy during pregnancy and even feel sexy now.

I was proud of my body for what it had gone through to bring life into this world and I wasn’t about to hide it right after having my baby.

I was also so proud of myself for getting as far as I have postpartum to where I am today.

I suffered alone for a VERY long time.
When I was younger, there was no such thing as online coaches.
There really wasn’t a lot of support at all.

I decided it was time to get help.

I saw a Psychologist and surrounded myself with professionals who knew everything about how to maintain a healthy body composition and repair my relationship with food.

I now see the value and investing in people who lift me up, support me and challenge me to be better.

Because without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

The truth is, you don’t have to do it alone.

You were never meant to.

Them: “She bounced back!”
Me: You sure about that?

No one f***ing bounces back from pregnancy — they DRAG themselves through the trenches.

Do yourself a favour and follow my page for more realistic nutrition & exercise advice for mums.

Mums work their ass off to get to this point.

Focusing on their nutrition.
Exercising during pregnancy.

All while growing a human.
THEN doing it sleep deprived after birth.

Not a single one of us is LUCKY!

We just have the right knowledge and stubborn determination to apply it.

Does that mean I restricted myself or dieted heavily during pregnancy or postpartum?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

I didn’t track my food at all during or after pregnancy.

There was no need for it when I know so much about nutrition — I’m a qualified Nutritionist for mums.

1. I made sure I was EATING enough real food (quick & easy meals) to prevent excess snacking.

2. I only exercised 1-3 times a week (some weeks no sessions at all).

3. I tried my best to get up and walk every day — even if it was just laps of the house with my baby strapped to me.

And there was no RUSH to lose weight, especially while breastfeeding this entire time.

I’d gained 9-10kg by the time I gave birth.
Then lost 20kg to get to where I am today.

It took me 9 months to grow my baby.
And 12 months to “lose the baby weight”.

This process takes TIME but it won’t happen if you stick your head in the sand and pretend like you don’t matter.

Mums, when you pressure yourself to “bounce back” — you’ll end up on a crash diet and exercise plan you can’t stick to.

Getting this right is about NOURISHING & moving your body, while growing & nurturing your baby.

You absolutely CAN do this 🫶🏼

With a more realistic approach that actually feels DOABLE.

From the start of pregnancy — all the way to your comeback story after having your baby.

Our Story

Welcome to the Mariah Jean Fit Family.

Throughout my life, like many others, I have faced many obstacles and frustrations while searching for a way to live a healthy, fulfilling and balanced life. I pursued the deeper knowledge and truth behind healthy eating and exercise as a long term solution, not just a short term fix. As a result, I have spent the last 7 years educating myself in the nutrition and fitness field. I am now a qualified Sports Nutritionist and Personal Trainer and a practicing Online Fitness and Nutrition Coach to over 200 happy clients and growing!

I currently practice as an Online Coach for everything from: personalised and tailored Meal Plans and Exercise Plans to weekly Macros (goal specific) Nutition and Fitenss Coaching to Bodybuilding, Physique, Bikini, Fitness and Figure Competition Prep Coaching for athletes. Although I am based in Brisbane for my one on one Personal Training sessions and services, QLD Australia, 90% of my clients are based online and can access my coaching services any time of the day any time of the week, all over the world. During my journey and the challenges I faced it gave me a very unique understanding of the difficulties everyone faces and gave me a passion to help share what I know with others and give them the opportunity to become their best self. And thus, Mariah Jean Fit was born, a family of like minded men and women, every day people and athletes all coming together from across the world to achieve amazing results and to look and feel better from the inside out. Mariah Jean Fit Ecompasses: Educating every day people towards eating sustainably long term for their health and fitness goals as well as mentally preparing clients for their health journey. Mariah Jean Fit avoids the extreme diets and training routines that in most cases is completely unnecessary and encourages a happy and wholesome approach to reaching our individual goals. All plans and coaching is tailored to your specific goals, preferences and needs, therefor giving you the best approach to sustaining a healthy lifestyle and maintaining or even improving your results.
