Celebrating 5 Years with Gabby 😇

Many of you will know Gabby from her warm voice and friendly support in our rostering team. She has a natural way of making people feel comfortable and cared for, and always goes the extra mile to help visits run smoothly.
For the past five years Gabby has coordinated our Gold Coast rostering and brokerages across Brisbane and wider area with kindness, patience and dedication. We are so grateful to have her as part of the Angels in Aprons family ❤️

Storms and scattered showers are expected across Brisbane and the Gold Coast over the next few days ☔
There is also a flood watch in place for parts of the Lower Brisbane River, so it’s a good time to check you’re prepared and stay weather aware!

A few quick tips to stay safe:
• Charge your phones and important devices
• Keep food, water and medications handy
• Check weather updates regularly and follow advice from local authorities
• Make sure your emergency kit is ready (don’t forget a torch 🔦)
• Bring in or secure loose outdoor items

Heatwave Alert – Brisbane & Gold Coast🌡️

With very hot weather forecast this long weekend, we encourage our seniors and families to take extra care. Please stay well hydrated, keep cool indoors where possible, avoid going out during the hottest part of the day, and check in on older family members and neighbours.

Our Angels are keeping a close eye on those we support and adjusting care as needed. If you have any concerns, please reach out, we are here to help!
