Today, we spent the day getting creative in the kitchen with our wonderful client — and just look at these delicious Christmas desserts we made together! ❤️🍰

Providing community access to participants for activities like this, allows them to learn new skills, express their creativity, engage socially and improve their mental health and well being.

Did you know we have qualified and experienced nurses in our team?!

Here is Karina repping our brand at a private hospital tonight. This was her workplace for a decade and where she gained her valuable nursing skills and experience before joining us.

We are currently providing respite for a participant in Mooloolaba.

The services provided include a fully accessible apartment for the participant and support staff with water views from balconies. It is in a central location, in close proximity to the aquarium, esplanade and wharf.

The apartment features a high low bed, shower chair and full sling hoist, so participants can pack without having to worry about transporting bulky equipment.

We provided transport in our wheelchair accessible vehicle from Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast, and will be using this to attend local attractions and for site seeing around the Sunshine Coast during their time away, and also for the return transfer back to the Gold Coast.

The costs for respite are all inclusive for the apartment, food, entertainment, transport and 24hr support services from our wonderful team. Contact us for more details.

S&A team supporting our participants with attending physiotherapy and hydrotherapy appointments. And there's no excuse to avoid the water during winter, when the pools are heated!

**** There are many benefits, and each individual can weigh up the benefits of exercise in a pool against any risks/concerns. An example of a contraindication for this form of exercise might be an open wound or immunosuppressed individuals.

A health practitioner or therapist can conduct an assessment to identify and discuss risks associated for the individual to ensure participants can make an informed decision regarding the suitability of this type of activity for them.
