Just a quick reminder to our Saturday clients that we will be closed this Saturday, the 25th of April, for ANZAC day 🌹💗

Fine motor skills are the small (but mighty) movements we use everyday for tasks like writing, getting dressed, using cutlery and play! ✏️🍴👕

Today, we’re sharing 3 easy ways to practice fine motor skills at home, using everyday items. No special equipment needed!

Each activity helps build skills like hand strength 💪, finger control 🤏 and coordination 🧠, all of which support independence.

If you’re concerned about your child’s fine motor development, get in touch with our friendly admin team to organise an OT assessment. 💌

We are five!! 🎉🎂🎈

This week, we’re celebrating five incredible years of Hide and Speech. We are so proud of what we’ve grown - three beautiful spaces, a team of over 40 amazing humans (and a few very cute pups 🐶) and a community of wonderful clients and families.

The last five years have been full of growth, learning, laughter and so many special moments. We feel so grateful to be part of our clients’ journeys and to work alongside such passionate and caring team every day 💌

Thank you for being part of our story, we can’t wait to see what the next five years bring! ✨

Big feelings are part of growing up and learning to manage them takes time 💛

Self-regulation develops from the early years and continues into adulthood. Along the way, children rely on co-regulation - the calm, supportive guidance of adults to help them feel safe and understood.
