Our psychologists are all highly experienced, we work as a team, sharing our individual areas of special interest and expertise, which we can share with our clients. Our approach is to assist you in building your own capacity in self-reflection, to give useful strategies and life skills, enabling you to move towards positive and sustainable outcomes.

Today is the day!! We’re officially opening the doors to our new premises and we are so proud to show it off ✨

A lot of care and hard work has gone into creating an environment that feels calm, welcoming and warm for our clients.

A reminder that this is our second office space, so we will be seeing clients across both sites. Our admin team and your psychologist will always chat to you about which location your sessions will be held at.

We’re so excited to welcome you into this new space very soon ☺️

🌿Something new is coming to Sutherland Psychology! 🌿
We are so excited to announce that we are growing and a second office is on the way!!
This new space (also right here in Sutherland) will complement our original office, allowing greater flexibility for our psychologists and our clients, while creating room for future growth and new team members.
We can’t wait to share the space with you… full reveal coming soon 🤍

🎄 Christmas Closure 🎄
That’s a wrap for 2025 at Sutherland Psychology! Our practice will close for the Christmas break from 24th December and will reopen on 5th January.
This time of year can be a hard one for some, so please be gentle with yourself. We hope you’re able to rest and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.
We will not be accessing our messages or emails during the break but will attend to all enquiries from the 5th Jan.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this year. Wishing you all a safe and restful Christmas and New Year 🎅🏻🎄🌟

A little update from our team 💛
We’re so grateful for every referral that comes our way. At the moment, we have a significant waitlist for new clients so most of our psychologists cannot offer new appointments before Christmas.

Our admin team reviews the waitlist regularly, and we kindly ask that you let us know if you’d like to remain on the list. You’re also very welcome to call us anytime to check on your place. We know reaching out takes courage, and we don’t take that lightly. We will be in touch the moment a space opens up.

If you’re in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to emergency services or a crisis line such as Lifeline (13 11 14)

Bronwyn and Eleisha had the chance to attend a Cultural Awareness Training evening last night with CESPHN. It was a great opportunity to deepen our understanding of culturally responsive practice and cultural safety, and will help strengthen how we support individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
We also enjoyed connecting with other allied health professionals and GPs, sharing ideas and building relationships that support better care across our community.
And of course, we couldn’t resist snapping a photo with our fave footy team jerseys on display (deadly incentive gear offered as part of health checks for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members).
Big thanks to CESPHN for such an engaging and worthwhile evening. 🌿✨
