As speech pathologists, we are committed to supporting communication, embracing neurodiversity, and creating inclusive spaces where autistic individuals feel understood, respected, and supported.

Exciting news for families and carers! From 1 March 2026, more children and young people under 25 can get Medicare rebates for speech pathology. This means easier access to assessments and therapy for things like speech sound difficulties, stuttering, or cleft palate.

Up to 8 assessment sessions and 20 therapy sessions can now be partly rebated, making therapy more affordable and helping kids reach their full communication potential.

Talk to us to learn more about how these rebates could support your child’s therapy journey.

🍂 Autumn is here, and it’s a lovely reminder that growth happens in every season.

At Communitalk, we continue supporting children and families as they build confidence, communication skills, and connection, one small step at a time.

As routines settle and the year moves forward, it’s a great time to check in on goals, celebrate progress, and keep moving toward strong communication outcomes together.

If you have questions about speech pathology support or would like to learn more about how we can help, we’re here for you.
