Having a cuddle with my fur baby got me really thinking about our beloved pets.

The loss of a pet can be unbearable, animals are really in touch with the universe, they can be our best friends, family and our healers.

Did you know that having a pet actually reduces stress and depression?

Animals are more in touch with other realms and magnetic fields Pay attention to your pet, they will actually show signs of when there is something/someone from a different realm around them.

They are so special in such a way that they adapt their personalities to fit in with their owners, and will go out of their way to protect them.

Cats are often stereotyped as standoffish but cats can be just as protective of their people as dogs are of theirs. I once had a cat that woke me up in the middle of the night because my mother had left the gas on. She woke me up and led me outside to make sure I was out of danger. I also remember a story my father used to tell of a feral cat following him around when he was young and on the run from the law he used to say this cat would look out for him.

I recently did a reading and a pet briefly came into the reading a RABBIT - so in conclusion there is no limit of the sort of pet you have all that matters is the connection you have with them.

The first day of winter here in Australia:

Got me thinking of the association between life and death. About what has to die and what can resist in the cold, I am lucky where I live during winter it doesn't get that cold but what about in other areas of the world during the winter freezing days? it made me think about how we treat each other, in the midst of difficult days. And it got me thinking about the meaning of our seasons and how they impact our lives. Maybe its because my house is cold with wooden floors and no heating maybe that's what got me thinking.

Tarot, is all about cycles, just like our lives deeply connected with the most important, and most visible cycle of all seasons. I concluded that Winter is a difficult one.

Most people dread the cold winter days, think of those of who live in Northern regions. Where Winter can become a danger all around. Plants and animals suffer or die, while there are a few who love winter time a white Christmas wonderland perhaps?

Maybe it’s an opportunity.

Wintertime is an excellent moment for Tarot readings.
