Teaming up with for Year 12 mental health education

First time partnering with delivering our mental health programs in the Gold Coast

📍First stop: Ormeau State High School

Year 12 learned about mental health, how it can relate to youth homelessness, and where to get support for both if they ever needed it

❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

EVERY student surveyed said the presentation reduced the stigma (negative opinions) of mental illness and 100% of them also said other students need to hear this message too

“finally a presentation that represents the actual illness properly and doesn’t just make you feel as though you should just feel better after doing some exercise or rest breaks.”

This beautiful emotional support dog named Ollie works with Judi helping people in schools and hospitals. Ms Ollie is a finalist in a competition to be recognised for the great work they both do! If they win, the prize money will support The Champions mental health programs in school.

Our first time visiting Northern Beaches Secondary College Cromer Campus! This was one of the most engaged front rows of an audience I’ve seen in a long time but the whole group was amazing too. I’m grateful I got to stick around afterwards for almost an hour to chat with several groups of students too. A lovely end to 2024. Seeya next year NBSC! ♥️

Aw yeah! After our many school presentations so far with .liverpool, it was great to be recognised this year by as part of their Celebrating Community Success event alongside heaps of other organisations doing meaningful work in the area

Council has been investing in youth mental health by backing our work with headspace in schools. Also a big thanks to for doing the same in Liverpool and beyond across Greater Western Sydney 💚
