Goodbye 2025

You were a whole lot of good and quite a bit of bad so I say ta-ta 👋

I’m not really into setting big “new years resolutions” because personally I think they have the potential to set you up for failure… BUT… I am into setting goals for 2026 to help keep me progressing forward in all aspects of my life.

So this year there’s no huge, life changing goals to announce - just enough small ones to keep me motivated and productive.

Here’s to good things in 2026, building on the foundations already set 🫶🏼

January Metabolic Reset

So, I have definitely been indulging this festive season and have definitely noticed a return of some bloating and inflammation. In saying this, I have still been applying some of my learnings from the metabolic reset so I don’t end up back at square one.

When oils are inhaled, aromatic molecules simulate the olfactory system, which is linked to emotions and memory. This can then trigger various responses in the brain such as relaxation or alertness.

In our home we rely heavily on oils to create a calming environment as well as to prepare our bodies for sleep in the evenings.

I simply select a scent depending of the time of day and how we are feeling. I love how I can chop and change the scent and therefore the therapeutic benefits with ease and zero waste 🧡

I’m HALFWAY there!

So I started with 2 major goals….

1. Drop 10kg by Christmas.
2. Heal my chronic chest inflammation to avoid a cortisone injection.

I didn’t want to speak too soon but I am in FAR less pain than I have been for the last 6 months and am down 5kg.

I’ve broken down the HOW into some really simple and easy to follow steps (even for the busiest of women!)
