Connection is often talked about in the golf swing, and then I see people pinning their arms to their side to achieve it. Problem here is wrong muscle recruitment is reinforced and arms cannot elevate.
When I think about connection, I think about a base of a stabilised and controlled scapula, creating a stable platform for the arms to move freely off, and also allow power transfer from body to arms and club. Easy to talk about but hard to get! doing a decent job here, left shoulder needs to get a bit better and need to watch that he doesn’t substitute with back muscles, but on the way to better “connection”.
