Feeling stuck? It might be because you’re still repeating old habits that once were helpful but are now holding you back from your growth.

I’ve done it, I still do it sometimes (yes I need this lesson just as much as you).

The first step is awareness, the second is action. Small consistent changes in our behaviour can develop long term rewiring in our brains to get us closer to our new goals and values.

Feeling stuck? Maybe you’re not seeing growth because you’re still repeating old patterns that no longer serve you.

I’ve done it, I still do sometimes.

But the first step is awareness and then action. Change won’t happen overnight but, overtime, small consistent changes can rewire our brains to align better with our growth selves.

Gratitude saved my life… literally.

During some of the darkest moments of my life, times when I felt completely overwhelmed and in suicidal distress, gratitude was often the thing that lifted me out.

As a little girl I used to kneel at the side of my bed and pray to a god I didn’t even believe in. I’d ask,
“If you’re real, why are you letting me suffer so much?”
“I’m too young to handle all of this… when will I get a break?”

I carried those questions with me all through my teens. And it wasn’t until the very end of that chapter that I started practising gratitude.

I never wrote anything down (not my style) but I would start listing things in my head. Simple things. Having my own room. My friends. Family members I felt safe with. Anything I could hold onto. And slowly, it helped me realise that even when life felt impossibly heavy, I still had moments, people, and pieces of good that kept me going.

It didn’t fix everything, but it reminded me of why I appreciated life.

And over time, I noticed something I never expected. I became grateful for the very things I used to pray for God to take away because without them I wouldn’t be the person I love today and be able to serve others the way I do now.

Even research backs this up. Brené Brown (academic researcher) found that gratitude isn’t something that comes after joy — gratitude is the practice that creates joy.

So if today feels overwhelming, start small.
One thing. Then another.
Let it gently shift the weight you’re carrying.
You’re not alone. 🤍

Anxiety hits hardest when you’re stuck in your own head.

The Dalai Lama’s advice?
Shift from “me” to “we.”

Caring about others isn’t losing yourself —
it’s how you calm your mind.

Every car on the road holds a whole world —
a worry, a hope, a moment someone else will never know.

Some are racing toward something new,
some are driving away from something heavy,
and some are just trying to keep going.

It’s strange how close we are, moving side by side,
and yet how little we know about the lives unfolding around us.

Behind every wheel, a life.
And maybe, somewhere out there,
someone feels the same way you do.

People-pleasing often starts as a survival habit.

You learned to keep the peace because, once, it felt safer than being honest.

But healing means realising that love doesn’t have to be earned through self-sacrifice.

You’re allowed to rest.
To say no.
To take up space.

✨ Boundaries aren’t walls, they’re self-respect.
