Words We Keep

Come write some letters, get creative and connect on paper.

We’re bringing back letter writing.

Go hunt down the letters you have in your drawers, take them out and have a read instead of a scroll.

Where will those words take you back to??

Who would you like to send these moments of now to?

You know where the link is for tickets!

It appears letter writing has appeared in my family as a creative expression before.

When we moved to Sydney from Nottingham, UK in 1989, letters and phone calls were how you kept in touch. Every week my parents write to their parents - and they write back.

Back then a letter would take a week to arrive, now it can take up to six.
It’s strange to think how something so simple- waiting for words to cross the world felt normal.

When my mum’s dad passed away suddenly, there was a huge pile of words left behind. Pages of thoughts, dreams and everyday musings.

My mum, who’s an avid botanical dyer, created something to house those letters- to bring them out of the drawer and into the day.

Seeing his handwriting is another kind of connection. It’s like hearing his voice again- the gravelly tone coming through each line, as if he’s narrating the words out loud.

Letters aren’t just paper- they’re time capsules of who we were, and how we loved. And now, in this world of instant rewards, they ask something of us- patience. The time for something to brew. For thoughts to grow. For space for solutions and ideas to land.

When it takes six weeks for a letter to arrive, the person who sent it might already be a slightly different version of themselves when the reply comes.

Maybe that’s the real magic- letters hold the in-between.

Who would you write to and what would you want to say?

What if put good energy in the post and let it go viral - the old fashioned way✨

When I’ve been writing letters it’s almost felt like an affirmation spell.

I believe when we lift ourselves, those around us are lifted too. Gratitude is contagious.

It feels a bit needed in the world at the moment.
When we all lift others together, the ripple is unstoppable.

So I’ve created Lucky Girl Letters - Manifestation Mail 💌 letters you can hand write, screenshot, or send to your favourite people.
Each one is like journaling, but instead of it being hidden, you send it out as a blessing 💫

Swipe to find a Lucky Girl Letter template - save it, fill it out, forward to a friend, your future self, or that person who jumps into your mind.

If you want to slow down, write together, create letters that feel like keepsakes, join me for Words We Keep - an off screen letter writing gathering at Wilson Cafe in Surry Hills 25th October.

Tickets at link in the bio.

Let’s see our words travel further than we do xx

Create What You Crave 💌

I wonder what pings/downloads/ideas would surprise you if you unraveled from social media?

What if you were to follow those pings/downloads/ideas?

Where would they take you?

I’m so intrigued at my path at the moment- following my pings/downloads/ideas especially the ones outside of my comfort zone.

Words We Keep

To You,

I just wanted to send you a letter inviting you to a little gathering I’m hosting at Wilson Cafe in Surry Hills on Saturday 25th October, and I’d love you to come.

I’ve rediscovered the lost art of letter writing, and I wonder if you’d like it too- we can slow down together, read from an archive of famous old letters, maybe a fan letter, or a love letter and then we can write some of our own.

Alongside the letter you write there, you’ll also take home something extra - a little experiment in how words go viral, offline. The original way.

You’ll get paper, envelopes and stamps - everything you need to send your words on their way, whether it’s someone you love, your future self, or a note that’s been sitting quietly in the back of your mind.

Writing letters is similar to journaling, but where journaling turns us inwards, a letter asks us to look outwards- to think of others, to pause, to use parts of our brain we’ve stopped using when we’re scrolling - creativity, imagination, memory, even critical thinking.

There’s something grounding and deeply connective in the human of pen on page and the connection to who you write to.

It’s at 10-11 Ticket’s are $20 link in the bio

It’s a simple hour, but I promise it will feel good to put pen to paper again.

I love that feeling when you post the letter in the box and the wonder of your friend opening it. Who wouldn’t love to get a letter from somebody thinking of them? I’ve kept all of mine over the years.

Until we write again,
Jasmin

P.S Drop me a line! I’dlove to hear from you 💌

I created and went through Screen Reset in the winter.

It felt to me like spring had come even though it was dark, cold and wet.

It felt that the seed inside me was sprouting and looking upwards and outwards.

Now that spring is really here- watch out!!

No matter what season you’re in- seasonally, business or mentally.

Resetting your screen usage is a powerful shift into your next level,

If you’re offscreen curious I’ve created a little taster seed of a free 5 step Screen Reset - Intro Series which you can find in the 🔗 in bio

We’ve forgotten how to do … nothing.

The Italians call it Il dolce far niente- the sweetness of doing nothing.
The Dutch call it Niksen.
In Japan. It’s Ma - the mindful space between things.

These pauses are most than rest. They’re vital. When we pause, our brains default mode network switches on- the part responsible for creativity, problem solving, and self reflection.

The challenge is the task positive network- the part of the brain that’s active when we’re focused, doing, solving- has become our default mode. Screens amplify it. Every spare second, every gap in the day, we reach for the screen. The in- betweens that once gave us rest are now packed with more input.

It’s why ideas often come in the shower.
Why ‘sleeping on it’ brings clarity.
Why writers block only breaks after a break.

Stillness isn’t wasted time. It’s the reset. It’s where the stress softens, creativity expands, and critical thinking sharpens.

This weekend try it. Instead of reaching for your phone, sit outside for a few minutes- tune into the sounds around you and what you notice- near and far.

You maybe surprised by what surfaces and the clarity that follows.
