Ever get that feeling someone’s watching you work? 👀
Turns out it’s just our Muse Store friends keeping an eye on things 🦊🐶🐻🐘🦁🦖

At Muse Psychology, we know play isn’t just fun — it’s how kids learn, connect, and grow. That’s why we created Muse Store to bring psychology-inspired toys into everyday life. (added bonus - it keeps kids off screens)

🎓 Start the 2026 school year with valuable insights into your child’s learning and development.

We have only three assessment days left before the Christmas break — and spots are filling fast! If you’ve been considering an assessment, now’s the perfect time to book.

Teachers play an important role in the assessment process by completing questionnaires about your child’s learning and behaviour. With new teachers next year, that valuable insight could be lost — so don’t wait!

Completing an assessment this term means you’ll begin 2026 with a clear understanding, practical strategies, and the confidence to support your child’s growth.

📞 To secure one of the final spots, contact Di today on (02) 8545 0137.

The social media ban for under-16s is coming — taking effect in December 2025.

Parents won’t be able to give consent for teens to use restricted platforms, and the list is expected to include YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Reddit.

This change will bring both challenges and opportunities for families.
Now’s the time to start preparing — not just for the loss of social apps, but for the conversations and emotions that will come with it. We are currently reading through all the information regarding this policy and will be running a series of blogs to hopefully help out a bit.

🧠 Subscribe to the Muse Psychology blog to keep up to date and get helpful, evidence-based advice on supporting your child’s mental health — we promise - no spam, no fluff, just real guidance (and the occasional reminder that parenting is hard, but you’re doing great).

🎓 Good luck to the Class of 2025!

👊 You’ve got this! 👊 All your hard work, persistence, and late nights have led to this moment.

A huge congratulations to every student sitting exams, and to the parents, carers, and teachers who’ve supported them every step of the way. This is your achievement too. 🌟

Remember — this is just one chapter in your life story. Your results don’t define you; they’re simply the beginning of what comes next. 🧡

You’ve got this 🤜 🤛

Play isn’t just play — it’s how kids learn, connect, and grow. 🌈

These days, screens make it easy to keep little ones entertained, but they also take away the magic of being bored. And boredom? That’s where creativity begins. ✨

Try to encourage more play, more imagination, and fewer screens — because that’s where the real learning happens. 💛

October is ADHD Awareness Month — a time to learn, listen, and challenge misconceptions.

At Muse Psychology, we support many clients with ADHD, and one of the biggest concerns we hear is how they’re perceived by others. Too often, people with ADHD grow up being called “lazy,” “oppositional,” or “naughty.” These labels are not only unfair — they completely overlook the unique strengths and perspectives that come with ADHD.

Our Principal Psychologist, Melinda, is passionate about breaking down these myths and helping people better understand what ADHD really looks like.

💡 Read our latest blog where Melinda explores common myths about ADHD and what the science actually says — and learn how understanding can make all the difference.
