The wonderful and most beautiful, Kim! Kim comes into the studio on Thursdays and first reached out as she had been looking for a space to get back into painting and finish off some pieces she’d started a couple of years ago.

Like a lot of us, she can be pretty hard on herself with her work… but every single person who comes into the studio comments on how beautiful her paintings are (and they’re definitely not wrong!!!).

She’s currently on a little side quest, taking a break from her girl with the blue background, and I’m so excited to watch this new piece come together each week and see her confidence grow more and more 🤍

Kim has also donated paints, modelling paste and other mediums that she no longer uses to the studio, which is so very much appreciated!

Today in the studio we had (for the very first time) Emerson and Everley! Another family were unable to attend, so the girls had the space all to themselves! We focused on facial expressions and different shapes that characters can have to make them who they are!

These girls are 5 years old. The more young artists I meet, the more I am blown away by how talented every single child is who walks through those doors is. It’s such an important aspect to keep alive.

I hope they enjoyed their time here and that they can visit the studio again soon!

I’ve officially put Ataris Art forward for the Local Business Awards. I really wasn’t sure if I should, it wasn’t on my 2026 bingo card… I guess now it is!

What started as just wanting to create a space for people to feel safe, creative and confident, has slowly grown into so much more. From workshops and YAS, to working behind the scenes with local businesses on their social media and marketing… it’s been a bit of an “and this… and this… and this!” journey.

Definitely didn’t start with awards in mind… but here we are!

If you’ve ever come to a session, supported the studio, or trusted me with your business… thank you!! 🫶🏻

Got a kid who’s always creating little characters, stories or random worlds in their head? This is for them! 🫟

In this session, they’ll create their own character from scratch, what they look like, who they are, and the story behind them.

It’s fun, a bit silly, super creative… and there’s zero pressure to be “good” at art. Show up, have a go and let their imagination run wild 🎨

Perfect for ages 5+ (big kids welcome too!!)

Juliette & Amelia didn’t get time to do the Easter craft at their session, so they took everything they needed home and spent a good hour with their little sister making these this morning! 😍 They turned out SO great! (I think I might need to hire mum to set up my Easter scene next year, how beautiful is it!?)
