Join Sophie Carter, MEAA Wellbeing Committee Co-Chair and qualified counsellor/coach, for a short session on building resilience through wellbeing.

Designed for those in arts and media, this session offers simple, practical strategies to stay grounded, nurture creativity and connection, and carry on with purpose — even in uncertain times.

It looks like my life as adult learner continues! A few weeks ago I commenced a Cert IV in Training and Assessment at St George & Sutherland Community College (SGSCC), which means (all things going well) by the end of the year, I’ll be qualified to teach in the VET sector.

It’s a VERY dense slog, but I’m looking forward to the potential opportunities to teach/lecture in a broad range of areas including my passions - mental health, wellbeing and the arts. Whoop whoop!
