Breast lift (mastopexy) and fat grafting: post-operative results at 3 years
The patient presented with asymmetrical breasts after lumpectomy and radiotherapy for breast cancer.
Left ni**le was also a bifid ni**le, which is a rare breast anomaly where there are two ni**les on one ar**la.
The intervention involved bilateral breast lift (mastopexy) and ni**le repair.
Results are presented at 3 years after surgery.
Surgical procedure duration: 2-3 hours
Nights in hospital: 1-3 nights
Post-operation recovery: 3 weeks off work, no heavy lifting/ intense exercise for 6 weeks, no driving for 2 weeks.
No smoking 6 weeks before and after the procedure!
