I have a Bachelor of Music BAMus, majoring in Vocal through the "Australian Guild of Music". My education and experience has given me the ability to acknowledge and expand on vocal and performance capabilities. My approach is done through constructive advice, quality vocal training and overall performance. I incorporate vocal exercises, as well as an array of different styles of musical pieces for accurate pitch, range, style, tonality,dynamics, vocal projection, rhythm, improvisation and overall vocal technique. I enjoy teaching different age groups, starting at age five through to adult . Skill Level: Beginners to Advanced singers. I began singing at the tender age of 7 under the watchful eye of Bob Tasmin-Smith, who was world renowned in the music industry for singing and teaching some of Australia's greatest talents.I have been trained in vocal technique, musicianship , performance and much more as well as many years of experience working in clubs, floor-shows, television appearances and professional studio recordings. After a successful television appearance on "New Faces" in 1992, a request from Bert Newton gave me the opportunity to appear and perform on "Good Morning Australia" in 1993 and then again in 1994. In 2009, I appeared on "Australia's Got Talent" where the judges passed me through to the next round, crediting me as an experienced and accomplished performer. This experience gave me the opportunity to master the art in dealing successfully with the pressure of media and interviews. My objective as a singing teacher is to give back the knowledge and experience I have gained through-out my career as a professional singer. I am confident in my ability to impart this knowledge in an encouraging manner to passionate aspiring singers. With many years of experience in singing, piano playing and teaching, I have been given the opportunity to perform with some great singer/musicians over the years. I have achieved a successful career in the music industry and understand what it takes to deliver a solid vocal performance. I am passionate in teaching my aspiring singers the skill of singing with solid vocal technique and confidence.
