Chúc mừng năm mới Bính Ngọ 2026! 🐎

It was an absolute honour to join the Vietnamese Seniors Association WA in welcoming the Lunar New Year. As we step into the Year of the Horse — a symbol of strength and perseverance — we are grateful to celebrate alongside such a wonderful community. ✨

Apollo Care Services was grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a small way towards the Lunar New Year celebrations. Supporting our seniors and standing alongside the community is something we deeply value.
Wishing everyone a peaceful, healthy and prosperous Year of the Horse. 🐎✨

Thank you all for the continued support and for helping us celebrate Lunar New Year at our Senior Social Group yesterday.
We loved seeing everyone smiling, moving, and enjoying each other’s company 🧧✨

Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧
As we welcome the Year of the Horse, here are some festive ways you can celebrate Lunar New Year with your friends and family:

🍽️ Cook traditional foods together (e.g. bánh chưng / bánh tét)
🏮 Create DIY Lunar New Year decorations (e.g. lanterns, zodiac animals)
🧧 Give red envelopes (lì xì) with personalised handwritten messages
🎆 Attend local Lunar New Year festivals or lion dances
🎲 Play mahjong or "bầu cua cá cọp"

At Apollo Care Services, we’re proud to share that we will be hosting a FREE community workshop next Thursday, 29 January 2026, in partnership with the Vietnamese Community in Australia – NSW Chapter Inc and Facing Dementia Together.

About the Workshop:
The workshop will be conducted in Vietnamese and focuses on the Australian Government’s new Support at Home program, which replaces the Home Care Packages program.
The session will cover:
- Key changes to the program
- Eligibility requirements
- How the new program may affect individuals and their loved ones

We are also pleased to welcome guest speakers and representatives from various organisations to share valuable information about available supports and services:
- Facing Dementia Together
- Wellways Carer Gateway
- Allied Health Reablement Team (SWSLHD)
- One Door Mental Health
- NSW Health Services
- VAWA (Vietnamese Australian Welfare Association)
- Allied Health for Life
