The Be Defib Aware Indigenous Corporation acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures and to their elders both past, present and emerging. Officially registered as an Indigenous Corporation 13 January 2020, Be Defib Aware Indigenous Corporation’s principal objective is to save the lives of people especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, through the supply of properly implemented defibrillators in their communities. The Be Defib Aware logo signifies the following: The Shield and Spear represent MEN; The Coolamon represents WOMEN; The Heart represents COMMUNITY, COUNTRY and HOME; The Volt represents LIFE; The Boomerang represents RETURN TO LIFE.
