🎄 Holiday Closure Update 🎄

Our clinic will be closed from 24 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, reopening on Friday 2 January 2026.

This short break gives our team time to rest and recharge so we can come back ready to support you in the new year 💙

If you’d like to organise sessions for early January, please get in touch before we close.
Wishing our community a safe, relaxing, and happy holiday season.

Behind the work we do every day, there’s a team, a lot of laughs, and moments like these 💙

Our Christmas get-together was about slowing down — sharing a meal, having some fun, and celebrating the people who make Move 2 Thrive what it is.

Grateful for our team, their families, and the community we’re proud to support.

Stepping into the Workplace Health & Safety Expo with Jerar 👋

A great day connecting with exhibitors, learning from others in the space, and sharing conversations around injury prevention, recovery, and keeping people well at work.

Always valuable seeing how different parts of health, safety, and rehab come together.

The goal is simple.
Be better than yesterday.

That doesn’t mean perfection.
It means showing up, putting the work in, and stacking small wins over time.

One rep. One step. One day at a time.

This is what knee strength looks like just two weeks after an injury.

Our EP Jerar hurt his knee recently, and after ruling out anything serious, Amisha took him through baseline strength testing.

Here’s what we found:

🦵 Injured side: 81 N (~8 kg of force)
🦵 Uninjured side: 307 N (~31 kg of force)

A big difference — but very normal early in the recovery phase.

This testing doesn’t tell us what someone can’t do.
It helps us understand where we’re starting so we can rebuild strength safely and confidently.

If you or someone you know has had a knee ni**le or injury, strength testing can give real clarity on the next step forward.

A quick reminder as we approach the end of the year:

Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans (EPCs) and Private Health Extras reset on 31 December.

Many people living with chronic conditions may be eligible for Medicare-rebated Exercise Physiology sessions (gap fee applies), or may have remaining Private Health EP benefits they haven’t used.

This is often a helpful time for clients to:

• Review their health goals
• Address ongoing pain or mobility issues
• Build strength and confidence heading into the new year

If anyone in your network needs help checking eligibility or organising their remaining sessions, our team is happy to assist.

DM “CARE PLAN” or visit our website to book.

What an incredible day at the Able & Awesome – Fair For All celebrating the International Day of People with Disabilities 💙

Amisha and I had an amazing time meeting everyone and running our Blazepod reaction time and grip strength challenges!
The energy, laughs, and competitive spirit made the day even better 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall to say hi, have a go, and share a moment with us.
Events like this remind us just how strong, diverse, and inspiring the Western Sydney community is.

Already looking forward to next year 💙

We know exercise is good for diabetes… but here’s how to take advantage of it 👇

Strength training can boost insulin sensitivity for up to 48 hours after a session.
This means training every few days can still give you consistent benefits — without needing to train daily.

It also supports heart health ❤️, mental wellbeing, and maintaining muscle mass over time.

General advice only — book an EP for a tailored plan.

Got a GP Care Plan? Book your Medicare-rebated EP session — DM CARE PLAN. Gap fee applies.
