Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Awareness Month highlights the importance of recognising, preventing and managing a condition that can often develop without obvious symptoms.

DVT occurs when a blood clot forms in a deep vein, commonly in the legs. Early assessment and appropriate management play an important role in reducing complications and supporting long-term venous health.
