Cancer Care Associates is proud to introduce our dedicated Breast Cancer Service to our Macarthur Centre, bringing together an experienced multidisciplinary team of breast surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists.

Have a look at the presentation night we hosted recently with BCAL Diagnostics. We were thrilled to introduce this team to local GPs, offering a valuable opportunity to highlight our integrated approach to breast cancer care and the expanded services coming to the Macarthur region.

Coming Soon: Cancer Care Moreton Bay – Expert Oncology Services in Caboolture!

We’re thrilled to announce that Cancer Care Moreton Bay, located within the Caboolture Hospital and Health precinct, will be opening its doors in early September 2025! Earlier this week we invited Mayor Peter Flannery and Cr Adam Hain onsite for a sneak peak of the centre and to discuss the services that will be available for patients within the region. This new centre will provide the local community with affordable, high-quality cancer care, close to home eliminating the need for extensive travel to Brisbane for treatment.

Our comprehensive oncology centre will offer:
✅ Quick access to consultation and treatment
✅ State-of-the-art, purpose-built facility
✅ Personalised care without a waitlist
✅ Free patient parking with drop-off/pick-up facilities
✅ Access to clinical trials and research opportunities
✅ Flexible billing and transparent treatment costs

Our services include:
💙 Radiation Oncology – Flexible billing policy. Medicare funds 80–90% of treatment costs, and eligible patients may be bulk billed. Private health insurance is not required.
💙 Medical Oncology and Haematology – Patients access treatment using their private health fund.

It’s Cervical Cancer Awareness Week!

This year, the theme is: 1+5 = Cervical cancer protection . With changes to national programs, preventing cervical cancer has never been easier or more accessible. All that is required is one (1) dose of HPV vaccine for young people PLUS cervical screening every five (5) years for women and people with a cervix from age 25–74 years.
