Meet Mia, the newest Support Worker joining the Compassionate Care Network team!

Hi, I’m Mia. I’m a second-year nursing student, and I love working with people of all ages. I aim to bring joy, excitement, and warmth to every interaction, and I hope to one day pursue a career in paediatrics.

I have experience caring for babies, children, teens, young adults, and the elderly, and I love adapting my approach to suit each person’s unique needs. I’m sporty, enjoy board games, and love spending time outdoors—activities I’d be excited to share with my clients.

I was drawn to Compassionate Care Network because of its focus on empathy, inclusion, and personalised care. I can’t wait to be part of this amazing team and make a difference in so many lives.

Join us in giving Mia a warm welcome! We’re so excited to have her on board!

Meet Katie, the founder of Compassionate Care Network.

While her leadership keeps Compassionate Care Network moving forward, it’s Katie’s heart for the community that truly defines our mission.

Katie doesn’t just lead from the top—she is deeply invested in the daily lives of our participants. Whether she’s brainstorming new ways to improve our services or checking in with the team, her focus is always on creating real, lasting impact. Under her guidance, we’ve built a culture where empathy isn’t just a value, but a standard of care.

We are so proud to have a leader who believes that every individual deserves a pathway to independence and a supportive community to back them up.

Did you know that an estimated 15-20% of the population is neurodivergent?

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a reminder that there is no "standard" way for a human brain to function. At Compassionate Care Network, our mission is to provide care that respects individual sensory needs, communication styles, and processing speeds.

When we create environments where neurodivergent people can thrive, we all benefit from the creativity and innovation they bring to the table.

Ready to find support that truly understands you?

At Compassionate Care Network, harmony isn’t a date on the calendar—it’s the heartbeat of every home we visit and every life we touch.

Our community is a vibrant tapestry of cultures, languages, and lived experiences. This Harmony Week, we’re celebrating the beautiful diversity that makes our care stronger and our connections deeper.

Whether it’s a shared story, a different perspective, or a new tradition, we believe that true care starts with belonging. Because when we embrace what makes us different, we strengthen the bond that holds us together.

Meet Dakota, the newest Support Worker joining the Compassionate Care Network team!

Hi, I'm Dakota. I’m currently a second-year nursing student, and I love being a support worker because it allows me to bring empathy and patience into every home I visit. I find true fulfilment in creating a calm, gentle environment where my clients feel supported and heard.

Having gained valuable experience in rehabilitation at Cabrini Brighton, I’ve learned that the small details—like a friendly conversation or a steady hand—make the biggest difference in someone’s day. I work best with elderly and neurodivergent clients, and I take pride in being a dedicated advocate for their comfort and well-being.

A few things about me—I love the beach, good music, and being around friendly people.

Join us in giving Dakota a fantastic welcome! We are so excited to have her on board!

March is Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Awareness Month. For many, a brain injury changes life in an instant—affecting everything from how we move to how we think and feel. These "invisible" challenges can often feel isolating, but support makes all the difference.

At Compassionate Care Network, we believe in a person-centered approach. We don’t just see a diagnosis; we see a person with goals, dreams, and the right to live a fulfilling life. Whether it’s navigating daily tasks or re-engaging with the community, we are here to provide the steady hand you need.

Compassionate Care Network, we see the incredible complexity of the female experience. We see the 'mental load,' the societal expectations, and the quiet strength it takes to show up for everyone else.

This International Women’s Day, we aren’t just celebrating 'strength' in the traditional sense. We are celebrating:

The courage to let a helping hand in.
The wisdom to know you weren't meant to do this alone.
The power found in vulnerability.

True empowerment starts when you realise that being supported isn't a sign of 'giving up'—it’s a sign of moving forward. Let us help you connect with compassionate support today.

Make March Purple is a global movement to support the 1 in 25 Australians who will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime. This month, we are sharing the story of Katie, our CEO.

Katie experienced late-onset epilepsy in her early 30s, but today, she is celebrating an incredible milestone: 10 years seizure-free. Her journey reminds us that while an epilepsy diagnosis is life-changing, there is a community here to walk that path with you.

Caring for someone with epilepsy requires immense strength, constant alertness, and deep empathy. At Compassionate Care Network, we understand the unique complexities families face—from managing seizure safety to the emotional exhaustion that can follow.

You don’t have to do it alone. We are here to provide the specialised, compassionate support you and your loved ones deserve.

Today is International Wheelchair Day, a day to celebrate the freedom and mobility that the right equipment and the right support provides.

True inclusion means ensuring that every individual has the tools they need to navigate the world on their own terms. At Compassionate Care Network, we believe a wheelchair isn't a limitation, it’s a vehicle for independence. We are here to ensure you continue to lead a life defined by choice, not by barriers.

Meet Ida, the founder and heart of Compassionate Care Network.

With over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Ida saw a critical gap during the 2020 pandemic: families were struggling to find quality, compassionate support at home when they needed it most.

Driven by a simple desire to help, Ida started by personally assisting her neighbours and friends. What began as a local helping hand quickly grew into a mission. Today, that mission has expanded across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland, but the core remains the same: high-quality, individualised care in a safe environment.

When you choose Compassionate Care Network, you aren’t just getting a service; you’re getting a legacy of professional care experience and a founder who truly believes you deserve to feel valued.
