Meet Carly, the newest Support Worker joining the Compassionate Care Network team!

Hi, my name is Carly, and I’m passionate about helping others. Supporting people comes naturally to me—it’s something I’ve always been good at and truly enjoy. I spent 30 years working in Pharmacy, where I loved connecting with people, listening to their needs, and making a positive difference in their day. That experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of genuine care.

Outside of work, life is full and busy. I’m a wife, a mum to two children aged 14 and 5, and a proud pet parent to a dog who is my best friend and a cat who keeps us all on our toes. Family life has strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organised, and remain calm in all situations.

The beach is my happy place, and I go whenever I can. Feeling the sand between my toes and the salt water on my skin truly heals my soul. I also love to travel and enjoy sharing stories from my overseas experiences with anyone who will listen.

A fun fact about me—I have an undeniable love for vinegar and put it on just about everything I eat (even though my dentist insists I should stop!).

Support work allows me to combine my life experience, compassion, and love for people into something meaningful, and that’s what I value most about it.
