Cervical Cancer Awareness week is coming up.

Screen EQUAL wants to make cervical screening better for people with intellectual disability.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers—having a Cervical Screening Test every five years is the best way to prevent it.

Mark your calendars for 13-19 November.

Our 2023 Cervical Cancer Awareness Week theme is 1 + 5!

What does this mean?

With changes to our national programs, cervical cancer protection is now as easy as 1+5.

All that is required is:

One (1) dose of HPV vaccine for young people

+

Cervical screening every five (5) years for women and people with a cervix from age 25–74 years.

Visit accf.org.au/cervical-cancer-awareness-week/ to find out more.
