Procedure: Extended Brachioplasty – Removal of redundant excess arm skin causing. functional issues after massive weight loss. (MBS 30169)
Time between images: Photos shown are pre-operative and 3 month post-operative. Scars from a Brachioplasty take 1-2 years to fully mature and fade.
Recovery: Generally returning to work form 2 weeks (depending on role), return to full exercise.
Hours in Surgery: 3-4 hours
Hospital stay: 1 Night
Patient: 48 year old female who lost a total of 30.7kgs pre operatively and another 6kg weight loss post operatively.
Resection: (R) 1136g (L)1048g (Max resection 12cm per arm)
