Have you met Sandra Reid? Regulars know and love her sessions (book our Spring Special 1:1 with her NOW!). She finds using Pilates for body maintenance and injury prevention to be so beneficial for clients. “I have a background in personal training and an interest in all sports, so I like working with clients and applying Pilates to improve their particular sport. I also enjoy working with older clients and seeing improvement.” Sandra has specialty training in hip and glute issues and golf conditioning. Outside of the studio, Sandra enjoys swimming, running and cycling. Like the injury prevention exercises she gives her clients, she also uses them for her own body to stay fit and strong. She has taught mat classes since 2008, and gained her studio and rehab qualification in 2019.

Our Story

Movement has been the glue that has helped me hold my life together. It has added to the joy when times have been good, and provided a way to find balance when life has been challenging. I have watched with sadness as my grandmother lost her quality of life because of lack of mobility, and I have felt how the quality of my life improved as I worked my way back to pain free movement and fitness after injury. It is my goal to help every client who walks through our doors, to find pain free movement, a way to achieve their goals and a way to sustain or improve the quality of their lives.

As a passionate advocate for the fine art of dance, it would be my absolute joy and delight to use my 23 years experience of teaching dance at DJAZZEX dance and Pilates, and many years experience working as professional dancer prior to that (no I’m not going to tell you how old I am), to assist those who have the fire burning in their bellies to be “the dance”.
