Our miniature painting groups took on the Phase Prowler, and wow-what a creative journey!

Participants explored a variety of techniques, including:

โœจ Base coating, layering, and washing โ€“ Washing is where you use thinned paint to flow into the cracks, creating natural shading and depth.
โœจ Some participants experimented with dry brushing for texture and even applied liberal washes for dramatic effects.
โœจ A few minis featured undercoating, adding a subtle sheen that influenced the final look.
But what makes these sessions truly special isnโ€™t just the paint-itโ€™s the people.

Our group thrives on sharing techniques, learning from each other, and challenging ourselves with bold color choices beyond the usual palettes. Every brushstroke is a chance to grow socially, spark conversations, and celebrate creativity together.

Here at Minds At Play, we recognise the challenges often associated in engaging people with disabilities aged 9 โ€“ 21. Our program aims to offer a safe environment in which people can experience the following social aspects, while playing a well established social and fantasy based game involving role playing and self awareness.
