💌 My husband received this message today from a former colleague, and I don’t think I’ll ever get over how much it means to me.

When I wrote I Love Someone With Cancer, I hoped it would help children and families find comfort, connection, and the words when it felt impossible to talk about cancer.

But hearing that it’s also been read and loved by adults going through treatment themselves… that’s something that has touched me deeply.

You’re the reason why I wrote it. ❤️

To everyone who has picked up my book, shared it, or read it with someone they love, thank you. 🙏🏽

Stories have a way of travelling further than we imagine, and your messages mean the world. 💓

Sleepover at my bestie’s in Brisbane! My phone battery didn’t last but managed to capture some beaut times. ✨🪩

Eating good food and sipping (organic!) wine with the gals, talking deep past 1am, soaking in a bathhouse and floating out of a massage.

A full body exhale. A reminder that rest is part of the healing. 🧘🏽‍♀️

I’m endlessly grateful to be a mum, my kids are my heart. But stepping away, even for a moment, helps me come back more grounded, more present, more me.

As a breast cancer survivor, time away from the everyday noise is more than a luxury. It’s medicine. 💎

Moments like this refill the tank in ways nothing else can.

Grateful for the space, the sisterhood and the stillness. 👯‍♀️ When was the last time you had some “me” time? ❤️‍🩹

A little bit of this and that, my kind of self care. 💛

Now that the school holidays have wrapped up, I’m holding onto the good stuff.

For me, it’s 8 hours of sleep (non-negotiable), salty air and ocean and waterfall dips, slow walks in nature, and time with the people who fill my cup.

Here’s your gentle reminder to keep following the sun, even as the routine kicks back in. 🌞🌿🌊 🌞🌿🌊
