Our Story - Beauty from Ashes

Loving humans has always come naturally to us. We value your humanity especially when you are struggling the most. You see your humanity is never more clear and visible than when you are facing a challenge. Some people find it easier to just start again, others well not so much. This is the raw reality of humanity and the need we have of ‘others’. The Friendship Centre was the creation moulded from a need that was not met, a person was suffering, deeply. There was no service for them, they were time and time again directed to those that had the head knowledge of suffering but not the experience of suffering. All that this person wanted was to be heard, encouraged, guided, supported and loved. They needed a -Friend. At the Friendship Centre we are trained and experienced counsellors however we are so much more than that. We truly care about you, we want to see you triumph and we want you to then use the skills you have learnt to then share and help another. This way we can all impact and change the life of one person at a time. That is our story from ashes beauty has arisen and ready to share, care and teach others not just how to survive- but to thrive.
