Introducing our new psychologist, Carmen Serrano! 🤩

As we get Further into October (Our Mental Health awareness Month) we are shining the spotlight on Carmen!
Her approach is person-centred and eclectic, drawing on evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, Schema Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. She tailors each session to individual needs, fostering a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported.

Carmen is passionate about helping clients build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and develop practical tools for lasting change and well-being.
Carmen is a registered psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology, awarded with highest distinction in Europe. Her doctoral research focused on adolescent bullying, and her extensive academic training is fully recognised by AHPRA.

She has broad experience across clinical and forensic settings, working with clients facing PTSD, complex trauma, psychosis, mood and personality disorders, ASD, intellectual disabilities, and addiction. Carmen has worked in both therapeutic and correctional environments.
