When my nonna lived in Calabria in the 1950s, she picked olives in the groves by hand; careful, seasonal work. The oil was pressed promptly and used with purpose, for food, skin, and home. That approach to making things–thoughtful timing, respect for materials, and nothing wasted–is what guides our work today. It’s not just what we use, but how it’s made.
