At home, it’s all about soft lighting — lamps and candles, gentle hues that invite you in.
Hand-crocheted throws, freshly washed and draped over the couch, waiting to envelop you in warmth and comfort.
It’s pots of tea and a book that’s sat on the shelf far too long.
Slow meals shared — robust and warming.
Snuggling under a blanket while someone reads to you.
Possibly my favourite time of year.
