Yesterday, The Stockyard stood a little quieter as we said goodbye to Penny Lee.
You were the matriarch of the Farm and boy did you know it! ❤️

Eighteen years of unconditional love, warmth and laughter, shared in ways words cannot fully hold. Her pawprints forever engrained into the soil and sand, her memory carried in our hearts.

Run free now, beautiful girl. Rest in peace. 🐾🤍

Farm-to-Plate Happiness

There’s something pretty special about heading out into the garden, picking fresh produce you’ve grown with your own hands, and enjoying it for lunch the very same day. 💚

At The Stockyard, we love giving our participants the chance to experience the full cycle, planting, nurturing, harvesting, and finally tasting the fruits (and veggies!) of their hard work.

Not only does it build independence and life skills, it boosts confidence, connection to nature, and a real sense of pride. And let’s be honest… food just tastes better when you’ve grown it yourself!

Here’s to fresh produce, full hearts, and simple everyday magic on the farm. 🌾💛

A huge thank you to Rachel and Will for creating the most beautiful lavender garden at the farm. Not only will it brighten up our space, but we’re hoping it helps bring the bees back and fills the whole place with that calming lavender scent.

Not only am I fortunate enough to do what I love every day, I am so blessed and grateful to be surrounded and supported by my staff!

The farm is my happy place, but it’s the people who make it magical, and my staff are truly some of the best humans you’ll ever meet.
