Each morning, our Preschoolers proudly lead our Acknowledgement of Country, showing respect and gratitude for the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn and play 🖤💛❤️

Through meaningful conversations, we are building their understanding of caring for Country and honouring the cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Such a special way to begin our day together 🌿✨

Spontaneous fun today when a friend requested we make play dough! ✨ We worked together to write the recipe, list the ingredients, and vote on a colour - red was the winner ❤️

After mixing it up, the Preschoolers got creative making play dough monsters, using sticks, spikes and googly eyes to bring their imaginative creations to life. So much creativity, teamwork and problem-solving all in one experience! 🥰

Our Centre will be collecting donations to help Mountains Care provide non-perishable food hampers for individuals and families in need across our local community.

📍 Collection Point: Foyer

Items most needed include:
• Canned goods
• Pasta, rice & pasta sauce
• Cereal & crackers
• UHT milk & juice
• Soup packs & ready meals
• Toiletries such as toothpaste, soap & toilet paper

Every item, big or small, makes a difference. Thank you for helping us support those in need and showing our children the power of kindness and community.

Exploring our children’s interests through movement and play 🐾✨ The Nursery children were invited to copy Miss Nicole as she made different animal sounds and moved like a variety of animals. There were lots of curious eyes, big smiles and excited giggles as they watched, listened and joined in!

The children had so much fun learning new soccer skills - from dribbling and passing to teamwork and listening to instructions. It was such a great opportunity to build confidence, coordination and have lots of active fun!

Our Senior Toddlers have been extending on their learning about safety by practising safe road-crossing procedures as a transition experience 🚦

Before washing their hands, the children chose a friend, held hands, stopped at the zebra crossing, looked carefully for cars, and then safely “crossed the road” together. Through play, they’re building awareness, confidence, and important real-world safety skills.

This experience came from conversations with our families about supporting road safety at home - and we love being able to bring those shared ideas into our program 💛
