This may be what celebrating Harmony Week looks like in our staffroom - a splash of orange and a fun, shared moment - but let’s take a look at what inclusion really looks like in our everyday practice.
At our service, Harmony isn’t limited to one week or one colour. It’s embedded in the way we welcome every child and family, honour cultures, choose inclusive resources, share stories from around the world, and create spaces where every child feels they belong.
From intentional teaching practices and respectful conversations, to celebrating family traditions and encouraging empathy and kindness, inclusion is something we live and breathe every single day. Today we came together for an extension of our Completely Connected activity where we looked at our family tree all together 🤍

Sitting as a group with our pillows, we shared special conversations about our families and the pets we love at home. With gentle encouragement, the children explored using words like “mum,” “dad,” and even “puppy” 🐶

Moments like these help build a strong sense of belonging, connection, and recognition of the important people in our lives 💫
