Avant Foundation

Avant Foundation The Avant Foundation seeks to support initiatives that improve quality, safety and professionalism in practice.

We believe this will lead to an improved culture of medicine, reduced medico-legal risk, and better patient outcomes in the future. Avant’s primary aim for establishing the Avant Foundation is to support our members to make a difference to the way medicine is practised into the future. The Avant Foundation represents our commitment to members – who are at the centre of all we do as a mutual. The Foundation’s vision is to provide strong leadership within the medical profession, focused on continuous improvement in safety and reducing risk for both doctors and patients. The Foundation provides funding to support research, education and leadership programs designed to make a real difference to how medicine is practised – in particular, the systems and processes. We believe this is key to creating sustainable change, enhancing patient care and reducing clinical and medico-legal risks. In this way, Avant and its members can have a meaningful impact on the future of medical practice. We invite expressions of interest, and enquiries from healthcare organisations with Deductible Gift Recipient Status. For further information, visit https://www.avantdifference.org.au/
