Scott Agnew recently shared a message with the entire Vivid team about the value we bring and the principles that continue to guide our business.
"Vivid started in my garage. I was winning the work, doing the work, chasing invoices, and quietly hoping I wasn’t about to make a mistake I couldn’t undo. There was no long term strategy or polished vision. Just a simple belief: do the right thing, work hard, and take responsibility for the outcome.
That commitment still defines us.
Today, Vivid employs close to 1,000 people across Australia and New Zealand. While the business has grown, our philosophy has remained consistent.
We are a delivery focused organisation built on employed teams.
We work with partners when specialist expertise is genuinely required. But leadership, accountability, and responsibility always remain with Vivid.
We’ve grown because clients stayed. Because our people stayed. Because we chose substance over shortcuts.
As we approach our 20th year, I’m proud of Vivid, not for how big it is, but for what it represents. We are more capable and more experienced than we were in the early days, but we are still anchored to the same belief that started it all: build strong teams, stand behind your work, and take responsibility for the outcome.
And that’s how we’ll carry it forward, together, into what comes next."
