Hello and welcome to Rock and Soul Healing!
My name is Rita, and my introduction to alternative therapies began over 20 years ago when I attended a reiki workshop. This opened up a new world for me and there began my search for my life’s true purpose.
After completing courses in reflexology and remedial massage, I joined a meditation group led by a wonderful healer who taught me some healing techniques, a form of ‘psychic surgery’, amongst other things. These healings were very interesting as I realised while giving a healing I could ‘see’ quite a lot with my eyes closed and sometimes received messages for the person being healed .
In 2009 at Uluru, under the guidance of beautiful teachers from Adelaide, I completed an intensive Energetic Healers course which literally changed my life. The following year a small group of us, including the teachers, travelled to Peru on the most amazing spiritual journey, visiting places such as the amazing Macchu Pichu and Lake Titicaca. We met shamans and practiced different rituals and meditations. I continued my trip without the group to the Amazon jungle, Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil. I visited a reiki healer, was out of my comfort zone for a lot of the time, but every place visited taught me something new about myself and about my life purpose.
