Meet Alex, our friendly Leisure and Lifestyle team leader at Mark Moran Vaucluse.

Alex is passionate about supporting all our residents achieve their goals while living within our home. Focusing on the physical, cognitive, spiritual, cultural and emotional care needs, no task is too difficult in achieving a positive stay for our residents at the Mark Moran Group.

When asked about her role, Alex states "it doesn't feel like work for me... I am able to be apart of a community that I love and make a difference when it really counts." And when asked about the Mark Moran Group, Alex said "I love how caring and friendly all the staff are, I feel so comfortable with staff from all departments which really makes day to day work life even more enjoyable."

Outside of work, Alex lives a social life in which she considers herself a social butterfly always out with friends by the beach. Originally from Sunderland in the North of England, her greatest achievement was braving a helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef despite her fears.

Showcasing our Holistic ageing for mind, body and soul at Sol Spa programme, the Mark Moran Group is immensely proud of the Sol Spa, and what it brings to our wide range community in supporting health, wellness and our holistic approach.

Conducted at the Ageing Asia Festival in Singapore, two of Mark Moran's executives had the opportunity to proudly present our amazing programme, showcasing the Sol Spa to various judges and the world.

Sol Spa continues to be recognised worldwide, with the award following our recent win at the leading Australia & Asia Spa and Wellness awards for 2024, highlighting the great contribution and work done by our Sol Spa team, creating a holistic care for our home and the surrounding community.

Mark Moran Group recently celebrated International Women’s Day on Thursday 6th March, by hosting a series of events and activities aimed at recognising the achievements and contributions of women across various fields.

Each facility had a speech which highlighted the importance of empowering women in the workplace and promoting a culture of respect, equality, and support for all employees, which was followed by a Morning Tea.
