Lest We Forget ❤️🌺

Last Thursday at Minimbah, we came together to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of the ANZACs. Our participants and staff took part in a meaningful parade, listened to ANZAC-themed music and the Australian National Anthem, and shared in a moment of reflection.

Our participants created beautiful wreaths, which were proudly presented and placed together as a tribute to those who served. Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed working together to prepare a delicious barbecue and share a meal together.

A special day of remembrance, respect, and community.

Easter celebrations were in full swing at Minimbah! 🐣🌸🥚

Our participants and staff enjoyed a day full of laughter and friendly competition—from our colourful Easter Parade and best hat competition, to a classic egg and spoon race that kept everyone on their toes!

The excitement continued with an Easter egg hunt across different areas of Minimbah, and the best part… swapping those eggs for delicious chocolates at the end! 🍫✨

A joyful day filled with fun, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. 💛

Welcoming the Lunar New Year at Minimbah 🧧✨

Our centre was filled with colour, culture, and celebration as participants and staff came together to welcome the Lunar New Year. The highlight of the day was our lively parade featuring a beautifully crafted dragon, followed by dancing and joyful celebrations in the room.

We also enjoyed an informative presentation from staff about the traditions and meaning of the Lunar New Year and wrapped up the celebration with a special cooking program where participants prepared delicious New Year treats together.

A wonderful day of learning, culture, and community! ❤️

Crazy Hair Day brought the fun to Minimbah! 🤪🎨

Staff went all out with wild and wonderful hairstyles, and our participants joined in too with creative wigs, colourful accessories, and plenty of laughs. It was a day full of self-expression, confidence, and smiles all around.

Celebrating Australia Day at Minimbah🎉

Clients and staff came together for a fantastic day filled with Aussie spirit! From singing the national anthem and testing our knowledge with an Australian quiz, to a flag-filled rally walk around Minimbah, the energy was amazing.

The fun continued with thong toss competition and a refreshing water balloon fight to finish the day with plenty of laughter and smiles! 💦🩴

A very special farewell at Minimbah 💙🎄

We recently came together with our clients, families, and staff at our client Christmas celebrations to celebrate and farewell Wayne, our CEO, recognising 10 years of dedication to Minimbah and his unwavering commitment to making the best life with our people. It was a joyful and heartfelt occasion that brought together celebration, reflection, and community — truly capturing the spirit of Minimbah.

The festivities were complemented by meaningful keynote speeches from Support Coordination Manager, Ness Archer, Chairman, David Peachey, and Board Member and sister of one of our clients, Sarah McCarthy, who shared personal reflections on Wayne’s leadership, the relationships built along the way, and the legacy he leaves within our Minimbah community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the season, the community we share, and Wayne’s incredible journey with Minimbah. 💙
