"Eid-ul-Fitr has become one of the major celebrations for Indonesian communities because the majority of the population is Muslim.
The name itself means βFestival of Breaking the Fastβ and marks the end of 29-30 days of fasting during the holy month, Ramadan.
It is a celebration of gratitude to God, as well as an opportunity to strengthen bonds within families and the wider community,β
