The Residents in Werombi Court just took third place in Australia for the Motiview Road World for Seniors campaign!

They managed to cycle 2740.5 kilometres in just three weeks, against 266 teams in 13 countries.

Our top winner was Leonard Reading, who took fourth place for Australian Men, having cycled 1124.4 kilometres. He placed 16th worldwide.

For women’s, Barbra Taylor cycled 297.9 kilometres and placed 16th in Australia, 106th worldwide.

The Motiview campaign is all about promoting wellbeing and connection for people over the age of 55. Our Residents committed to it with dedication and have done us tremendously proud.

Here are our other winners:
Chris Holland: 323.2 kilometres, 17th in Australian men, 69th worldwide
Peter Clarke: 149.0 kilometres, 34th Australian men, 158 worldwide
Sue Clifford: 176 kilometres, 25th Australian women, 173 worldwide
Sheona McMillian: 140.2 kilometres, 30th Australian women, 211 worldwide

The rain didn’t stop us from having our Pink Ribbon Day lunch in style. Residents at Werombi Court had an awesome lunch, staff had a Pink Ribbon themed duck race in our water feature, and a special BBQ lunch at Rocksalt.
