Tuberous breasts are a congenital difference in breast development, rather than something caused by lifestyle or habits. The breast tissue and fold do not expand in the usual way, which can lead to a tighter breast base, a higher breast fold, enlarged or prominent ar**la and noticeable asymmetry between the breasts.
Surgical management is carefully tailored after a full clinical assessment. Depending on your anatomy, treatment may include releasing constricted tissue, adjusting the breast fold and using other reshaping techniques to address breast contour and proportion. In some cases, additional procedures may be discussed to manage differences between the two sides.

Your goals, medical history, tissue quality and healing response are unique, so a face-to-face consultation with Dr Norris is essential to determine whether surgery for tuberous breasts may be appropriate for you and to outline potential risks, benefits and alternatives.
