It’s Kaleido’s 1st birthday!

We’re proud to celebrate one whole year of providing inclusive, person-centred and judgement-free healthcare for the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

Thank you to our incredible patients, our dedicated team, and our amazing practitioners - we couldn’t have done it without you! This first year represents only the beginning of our journey. Together, we will continue to build a healthcare service that reflects the diversity, resilience, and strength of LGBTQ+ communities, ensuring that everyone has access to the care they deserve.

On Trans Day of Visibility, we honour and celebrate transgender and gender-diverse people - their resilience, their identities, and their contributions to our communities.

We also acknowledge the very real discrimination and inequities that many trans people continue to face, particularly when accessing healthcare.

Please note that Kaleido Health Centre will be closed over Easter from Friday 3rd April, reopening Tuesday 7th April. Kaleido will also be closed on Monday 27th April for the ANZAC Day public holiday.

To request a repeat script
1. Head to the Kaleido website
2. Click 'Book Now'
3. Select the pill icon 'Repeat Prescription'
4. Complete an online request by answering a few questions
5. Your GP reviews your request, usually within 1 business day*
6. If approved, you'll be notified and payment will be collected

Did you know that Kaleido has a nurse on-site? Nurse Sarah is a member of the Australian College of Nursing and has also earned postgraduate qualifications in sexual health and cardiac critical care nursing. She has extensive experience across various healthcare settings, including intensive care, emergency trauma, aviation nursing (flight nurse), and LGBTQ+ general practice. Follow us from Redfern Station to Kaleido HQ!

Kaleido Health Centre is located on Gadigal land, in the Belltower Building in the South Eveleigh precinct in Sydney - 2 Cornwallis St, Eveleigh NSW 2015.

Here is a quick guide to help you find Kaleido, no matter your mode of transport:

🚂 By Train - Kaleido is located 150 metres from the Redfern Train station. The best exit from Redfern station is Marian Street - from there, exit and head south toward Cornwallis Street. There is an outdoor accessible ramp and elevator terminating at the main entrance to Kaleido. Erskineville Station and Macdonaldtown Station are both a 15-minute walk to the health centre.

Central Station is just over 2km to Kaleido Health Centre - walking time 25 minutes.
🚗 By Road - Kaleido is approximately 15 minutes by car from the Sydney CBD. Some on street parking is available in the local area and underground public parking is located at Romeo’s IGA shopping complex adjacent to Kaleido.

🚌 By Bus - The closest bus stop is Redfern Station, Gibbons Street Stand B (200 metres from Kaleido) which is serviced by bus routes 308 and 310.

📞 By Phone - We offer a range of Telehealth services to allow you to access Kaleido’s services from home, work or afar.
