The Pilates Studio was established in 1994 and operates as a Training Center directly linked with Romana's Pilates based in the United States. Pilates protege and one of the closest direct link to his work. Having recently moved to a new location near Central Station we are just a stones throw from the heart of Sydney's CBD, here we have proudly established a center of excellence in the Pilates Method.

Cynthia Lochard’s Pilates Method Studio has been a part of Tamika’s life for as long as she can remember.
It’s been operating in Australia for over 30 years, and Tamika has been around it since she was six years old. She holds deep respect and admiration for Cynthia Lochard, and the studio itself.

Pilates has always been more than just a form of exercise for Tamika—it’s kept her fit, grounded, and mentally strong. She’s sustained her practice through every stage of life. Even before she considered becoming a teacher, she knew Pilates would always be part of her journey. It supported her through high school, carried her through those uncertain years when she wasn’t sure what path to take, and eventually led her to travel the world—training, working with, and learning from people across the globe.
