đź‘‹ Meet Cesar Gil Hernandez
Quality Assurance & Business Manager
Gold Care Home Services

Cesar has been with Gold Care for over 6 years and plays a key role in overseeing operational management across the organisation. He works closely with the team to ensure our services run smoothly while supporting the company’s growth and the continued development of systems that strengthen the quality of care we provide.

What Cesar enjoys most about his role is knowing the work we do positively impacts people’s lives. From creating new opportunities within the community to receiving positive feedback from participants and stakeholders, it’s the real difference our services make that keeps him motivated.

Outside of work, Cesar enjoys spending time with family, going to the gym, sports (especially football and rugby), travelling, art and reading. Fun fact: before joining Gold Care, Cesar served as a Police Officer at the Eastern Beaches Local Area Command.

We’re proud to have dedicated leaders like Cesar helping drive quality and growth at Gold Care 💛

💡It’s Brain Awareness Week (16-22 March)

Unlike a broken bone, you can’t always see a brain condition. Changes in memory, mood or behaviour can be difficult to recognise and even harder to talk about.

Brain Awareness Week highlights the importance of understanding brain health and reducing stigma around neurological conditions.

Looking after our brain is just as important as looking after our physical health. Staying socially connected, maintaining routines, eating well and keeping active can all support wellbeing in later life.

At Gold Care Home Services, we’re proud to support individuals at home with care that promotes dignity, independence and overall wellbeing 💛

If you’re starting to explore care options for yourself or a loved one, we’re here to provide compassionate, professional care in the comfort of your own home.

👉Later this week, we’ll also be sharing an article with practical tips for supporting brain health at home.

We’re sharing this great opportunity from the Physical Disability Council of NSW.

They’re running a series of free online workshops (dates still available in March) for people with disability and their parents, partners or family members, covering topics such as navigating NDIS changes, understanding what you can purchase with your funding, building self-advocacy skills, and personal growth.

These sessions are facilitated by people with lived experience of disability, creating a supportive and insightful space to learn and connect.

If you or someone you support may benefit, check out the workshops and register below.

Did you know there are inclusive tennis programs designed so people of all abilities can enjoy the game?

All Abilities Tennis, supported by Tennis Australia, provides opportunities for people with disability to get involved in tennis in ways that suit them. Programs include wheelchair tennis, blind and low vision tennis, deaf and hard of hearing tennis, and sessions for people with intellectual disability or autism.

Celebrating NSW Women’s Week 2026 💛

From 2-8 March, NSW Women’s Week shines a spotlight on the achievements, strength and diversity of women and girls across our state.

At Gold Care Home Services, women form the foundation of our organisation, with dedicated, compassionate and skilled professionals supporting our clients every day.

This week celebrates women from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, women living with disability, LGBTIQA+ communities, and those living in regional, rural and remote NSW.

We honour the remarkable contributions of women across our sector and beyond, and especially the incredible women within our own team who make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
