As we wrap up the first month of 2026, it’s a pleasure to welcome some of our first new residents of the year to Lincoln Place.

At Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill, we’ve been busy welcoming new residents despite the recent extreme heat. A huge thank you to our on-site team for supporting our residents during these challenging conditions and helping new neighbours settle in comfortably.

Rising council rates? Not here.

With Cessnock City Council proposing a rates increase of nearly 40%, many households across the region are feeling the pressure. But residents at Campbell Lifestyle Estate and Hunter Valley Lifestyle Estate, both within the Cessnock City Council area, won’t feel the impact.

That’s thanks to Lincoln Place’s innovative land lease model, used across our lifestyle neighbourhoods. The low-maintenance lifestyle at Lincoln Lifestyle Mudgee Spring is allowing residents to follow their downsizing dreams.

Mudgee Spring resident Cathy said the decision to downsize to the over-50s community has given her the gift of more time to enjoy what matters most – a rewarding job as a carer, treasured moments with family, a second job as an editor of the local newspaper, and a busy social life.

When Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill residents Peter and Lucy Taylor moved from their farming property into the community, it was the double garage that made their move seamless.

“We were worried the move would be challenging, having accumulated a lifetime of belongings over the last 50 years. The extra storage is brilliant. I don’t think we’d be able to manage without the additional garage space,” Mr Taylor said.

Lincoln Place is bringing a brand new over-50s lifestyle estate to the Murray River region of Moama/Echuca.

The masterplanned lifestyle estate will feature 197 thoughtfully designed two and three-bedroom homes, set within beautifully landscaped surrounds.

Resort-style amenities include a heated indoor pool, gym, private theatrette, library, lounge and dining areas, and bowling green, with the site also providing access to two championship golf courses.

Construction is expected to commence in the coming months and we look forward to providing updates as we progress our plans for this community.

Celebrating an Exceptional Year at Lincoln Place!

Together this year, we've opened new spaces, welcomed new neighbours, celebrated milestones and brought our communities to life. From eagerly-awaited openings and lively events, to everyday moments shared over coffee, bowls or a walk around the community, 2025 gave us plenty to be proud of.

Here's just some of what we've achieved:

Christmas Festivities | As we countdown to Christmas, our residents have been coming together to celebrate in their own ways. Christmas parties were held at Lincoln Lifestyle Kangaroo Flat, Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill, alongside a family fun day at Officer Lifestyle Estate and much more.

In the Hunter Valley, residents at Campbell Lifestyle Estate raised over $1,000 at a Christmas craft morning, while Lincoln Lifestyle Baranduda enjoyed a special visit from Mr and Mrs Claus—the perfect way to bring the whole family together.

As our communities unwind and enjoy this special time of year, please note that our teams will also be taking a short break over the Christmas period. From 5 January, our friendly sales teams will be back and ready to assist with any enquiries.
