Trust works both ways.

You trust us with your health.
And part of good care is us learning to trust you too.

If you’re asking for a routine script or a referral you’ve had before, that usually means:
• You know your condition
• You know what’s been agreed
• You know what you need next

And that matters.

At Rosedale, routine requests for scripts and referrals are available around the clock — because healthcare works best when trust flows both ways, not just one.

This isn’t about shortcuts.
It’s about continuity, respect, and systems that recognise real life.

Some things don’t need to be hard.
They just need to work.

TLDR: prunes great for constipation but high FODMAP - an issue for som.

Kiwifruit low FODMAP, great for constipation.

Follow our wonderful dietitian / nutritionist Mary-Anne for more helpful tips.

It was shown that prunes showed the greatest improvement in stool frequency out of the three groups assessed. Participants in both the kiwifruit and prune groups also demonstrated greater changes in stool consistently compared to psyllium. All three groups also reported improvements in straining between baseline and weeks 3 to 4 of treatment.

In conclusion, kiwifruit appears to be a safe and preferred method for treating chronic constipation, as it is low FODMAP and high in vitamin C and fibre. Psyllium husk is also useful, although some participants reported bloating and distension. Prunes may also benefit constipation but they are high in both fibre and sorbitol, therefore making them high FODMAP. Therefore, kiwifruit may be a better first choice for symptom relief in people with IBS-C.

We know access hasn’t always felt easy.
And we want you to know — we hear that. 💛

Seeing your usual GP matters.
Being known matters.
Not having to start again matters.

That’s why we focus on continuity of care.

Where possible, patients at Rosedale are supported by both a primary and secondary GP — so your care doesn’t pause when one diary changes.

Some doctors have closed their books, not to limit care, but to protect it — ensuring existing patients continue to receive safe, consistent, relationship-based support.

Other doctors are warmly welcoming new patients, so that our whole community can access the type of care we believe in.

Behind the scenes, we’re also growing thoughtfully.
Welcoming new doctors with shared values and special interests — from menopause and skin cancer care to mental health, preventative medicine and family care — so you’re seen by the right clinician for your needs.

And care here goes beyond the consult room.
Our nurses, pharmacist, dietitian, reception and leadership team work together daily to reduce friction, improve coordination and keep care connected.

We’re not rushing growth.
We’re building something sustainable — so you can feel confident, supported, and cared for well. 💡

Once, this room was tucked away.

Small.
Easy to miss.
A space you passed by without thinking much about what happened inside.

That was Little Rosedale.

Back then, the treatment room sat at the edge of the practice.
Care still happened, but it happened carefully, within limits.
Dressings were set up where they could fit.
Procedures were done with precision, but little room to breathe.
Our nurses adapted, as they always do.

Then the practice moved.

At Big Rosedale, the treatment room isn’t hidden anymore.
You see it as you walk in.
Light fills it.
Doors open wide.

It’s the largest room in the practice now.
Not by accident.
By decision. By design.

You step inside and feel the difference immediately.

There’s space to move.
Space to set up wound care properly.
Space for an iron infusion to run calmly, with monitoring that doesn’t feel rushed.
Space to prepare procedure trays without compromise.
Space for health assessments that take the time they need.

You notice how the room resets between patients, quietly, smoothly.
How nurses move with confidence, not constraint.
How conversations aren’t cut short by the next task waiting at the door.

This room sits at the centre of the practice because this work sits at the centre of care.

This is where wounds are managed.
Where infusions run.
Where procedures happen.
Where assessments are done thoughtfully.

This is where nurses in general practice do what they’re trained to do.

The room didn’t just get bigger.
Care did.

Because nurses in general practice matter.
And when you build visibly, centrally, intentionally for them —
care becomes calmer, safer, and more human.

You may not think about room size when you come to your GP.
But once you feel this space,
you understand why it matters.

Good care starts long before you sit in the room.

Dr Saini recently contributed to a national roundtable on team-based primary care, focused on how healthcare systems work in real general practice.

That systems-level thinking helps shape how care is designed at Rosedale — aiming to reduce friction and make your experience clearer and more supported.

Care that’s considered.
Systems that work quietly in the background — so you don’t have to think about them.
