✨ Welcome to Holistically Me ✨

If you’re new here — I’m so glad you’ve found your way in ☺️

And if you’ve been here a while — thank you for being part of this space, where slowing down, listening inward and real change are supported 🙏

Holistically Me was born from real life.

From being a mum doing the juggle.
From working in corporate leadership.
From getting through breast cancer, separation and divorce, and the deep personal rebuilding that follows.
From navigating stress, responsibility, change and uncertainty — and learning (sometimes the hard way) what the body and mind actually need to stay well.

What I share here isn’t theory alone — it’s what I practise every single day in my own life.

Nervous system regulation is the foundation of everything I do — because it sets the foundation to create and sustain real change. My work integrates evidence-informed tools from Yoga, Meditation Therapy, Sound Therapy, Psych-K and Holistic Counselling….and more.

Not removing stress completely (because that’s not real life), but learning how to reduce the harmful stress, understand the helpful stress, and build the capacity to meet life with more calm, clarity and resilience.

This work is about:
• feeling steadier in your body
• quieter in your mind
• more connected to yourself
• and better equipped to handle everyday pressures — at work, at home, and everywhere in between

Over the next week, I’ll be sharing more about:
✨ what Holistic Counselling looks like with me
✨ what transformation really means (and what it doesn’t)
✨ simple, practical nervous system tools you can introduce into your day — at your desk, between meetings, at home, or on the go

No pressure to change everything.
Just small, intentional shifts that your nervous system can actually absorb.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, tired, or simply curious about living with more ease — you’re in the right place.

Thank you for being here.

This space is for real life, real people, and sustainable wellbeing in health and happiness 💚

🌿 relaxing muscles
🌿 settling the mind…thoughts come into our mind slower
🌿 restoring a sense of safety in the body

There are still some spaces available so BOOK in online (via the website) as it is THE BEST to recalibrate with guided body awareness and sound so you can truly let go ☺️

✨ Self-care isn’t always quiet. ✨

We often picture self-care as time alone… candles, baths, journaling, silence. And yes — that matters deeply.

But true self-care is bigger than that.

It’s also about 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
It’s about 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 of your usual environment.
It’s about 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲, 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐢𝐫, 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, trying something new, 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 who lift your energy.

Sometimes the nervous system doesn’t heal in isolation — it heals in safe connection, in nature, in shared moments, in feeling part of something.

Honouring yourself means listening to what your whole being needs:

☺️ stillness and stimulation,
🎶 rest and play,
🌿 solitude and community.

All of it is self-care.
All of it matters. 🤍

I hope you are all enjoying your Australia Day whatever you are doing 🇦🇺

I’m here enjoying live music by the beach with friends and the local community…picnic style 🤩

Happy Saturday ☀️

I’m so happy to be back 🤍 and what a beautiful welcome with a fully booked session on Wednesday night – it truly meant so much. Thank you for the energy, the openness, and the trust you bring into the space ✨

Just a reminder that there will be no class Monday due to the Australia Day public holiday, so make sure you book in for Wednesday night to keep your rhythm going.

There’s something powerful about a midweek reset…
a moment to pause, breathe, check in with yourself, and gently recalibrate.

Consistency is where the magic happens 🌿

It’s how we train the nervous system to move from stressed and “on” → to calm, grounded and regulated. One session plants the seed… regular practice is what creates real change.

BOOK your spot online via the link in the bio, as spaces are limited in the beautiful Lotus Room at Alchemy.

I’d love to see you here!

Have you ever noticed how calm you feel after walking barefoot on the grass or sand? ☺️

That’s grounding (or earthing) – the simple practice of connecting your body directly to the earth.

The soles of our feet contain thousands of nerve receptors that constantly send information to the brain about safety, surface and environment. When we walk barefoot on natural ground, these receptors send calming signals through the nervous system, helping the body soften and settle.

At the same time, the earth’s natural electrical charge supports balance in the body and helps regulate stress responses.

How does this benefit us?

• Helps lower stress hormones like cortisol
• Calms the nervous system
• Reduces anxiety and overwhelm
• Supports better sleep
• Shifts the body out of “fight or flight” into rest and repair
• Creates a deep sense of steadiness and safety

And the best part? It’s a practice you can do almost anywhere.

Working from home? Take a short break and step outside barefoot for a few minutes.

Just got home? Kick your shoes off and walk in the garden.
Grass, sand, soil, concrete, the beach… any natural surface will do.

I’ve always loved being barefoot….still do and I only learned why only a few years ago.

Shoes off. Feet on the earth. Slow breath in. Long breath out.

Sometimes the most powerful healing for ourselves is also the SIMPLEST 🤍

You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy. 🧐

So many of us are waiting… for work to calm down, for this season to pass, for life to feel easier. I know that was me!

But life keeps unfolding.

Happiness isn’t about pretending things aren’t hard.
It’s about creating small moments of steadiness within the hard.

That’s at the heart of the work I do – supporting the nervous system with gentle, meditation-based practices so the body can soften and the mind can follow. It’s where CHANGE happens…by creating space within.

You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect to start feeling okay 🤍

If this resonates, you’re welcome to book a free 15-minute chat via the link in my bio or DM me.

See you THIS WEEK for sessions, they are BACK tomorrow night 🥳😴🫶

Most people don’t realise this…

Your body often decides you’re stressed before your mind does.

That tight jaw.
The shallow breathing.
The heavy chest.
The constant urge to stay busy.

That’s your nervous system speaking.

Your nervous system’s job is to keep you safe. It scans your environment 24/7 – below conscious awareness – through a process called neuroception.

It constantly asks:
am I safe… or do I need to protect myself?

You don’t choose this.
You don’t think it.
Your body senses it first.

When life stays busy, demanding or emotionally heavy, your system can get stuck in protection mode.

And when that happens, you might notice:

• feeling wired but tired
• overthinking small things
• reacting more than you want to
• struggling to switch off
• feeling disconnected from yourself
• or not enjoying things the way you used to

None of this means something is wrong with you.

It means your nervous system is doing its job… a little too well.

When I first learned this, everything changed for me.

I started to become more aware of my body.
It helped me stop blaming myself.
It helped me understand my reactions.
And it showed me that calm isn’t about willpower – it’s something the body can learn.

The beautiful part?

Your body can learn safety again.

With the right practices, the nervous system softens, thinking clears, emotions settle, and you start to feel more like you.

Not because life suddenly becomes perfect…
but because your system becomes steadier.

And that changes everything 🤍

What do you notice? 🧐

Some days your mind can feel heavy. Some days stress sits heavy in your chest. Your thoughts race. Your body tightens.
Everything feels louder than it needs to be.

But here’s the truth:

Stress is not who you are it’s what’s passing through you.

Try this simple 60-second reset whether your at work or at home:

1️⃣ Soften your body (10 sec)
Drop your shoulders. Unclench your jaw.
Let your hands rest open.

2️⃣ Slow your breath (30 sec)
In through your nose for 4…
Out through your mouth for 6…
Three gentle rounds.

3️⃣ Name it kindly (10 sec)
Say quietly: “This is stress. It will pass.”

4️⃣ Ground into now (10 sec)
Feel your feet firmly on the ground
Feel the support beneath you.

That’s it.

You don’t need to solve everything today.
You just need to clear a little space inside.

Remember…
stress is like a passing cloud — the sky of your mind will clear. ☁️✨

Save this. Share it. Come back to it anytime you need.

With calm,
Wendy 🤍

Modern life wasn’t designed for calm nervous systems 😵‍💫

Most of us move from task to task, screen to screen, responsibility to responsibility – without ever truly letting our bodies reset. It’s SO EASY to do!

But your nervous system is the control centre for everything: your stress response, sleep, hormones, digestion, immune system, emotions, focus and decision-making.

When it’s overloaded, life feels harder than it needs to be.

That’s why having a practice matters.
Not something perfect.
Not something time-consuming.
But something consistent that teaches your body how to come back to steady.

Calm isn’t a personality trait.

It’s a biological skill that can be trained.

My nervous system regulation sessions offer a small, supportive space to do exactly that – to slow down, breathe properly again, release held tension, and gently guide your system out of the constant “on mode”.

People often tell me they leave feeling calmer, clearer, less reactive and more like themselves again. They are surprised how different they feel. I know I do juggling work, home and family each day.

If you’d like support learning how to regulate your nervous system in REAL life, my group sessions and counselling spaces are now open 🤍

We are BACK Monday 19th January!

MONDAYS - as a Capricorn I love Mondays, New Year and any other time which signifies a new start.

Setting up your week right with a small action which helps you to reset, can make all the difference to your productivity at work or at home.

Most of us push through tiredness and call it discipline.

But your nervous system needs pauses to function well.

Take the micro break. This is something I do throughout the work day and it only takes 30 seconds - wherever you are.

Pause.
Breathe in slowly - a long slow deep breath in
Breathe out slowly. - a longer slow breath out
Drop your shoulders.
Move your head slowly - side to side and up and down

That’s nervous system care in real life.

Your clarity, energy and productivity depend on it.

Welcome Back ✨

Most of us move straight from one busy season into the next without ever truly stopping.

Not because we don’t want rest — but because life, work, family and responsibility don’t pause.

Yet a real break is not a luxury. It’s biological. Our nervous system needs it to reset, repair and restore.

That’s why I’m reopening Holistically Me on Monday 19 January 🤍

Many of you know I’m a working mum too. I understand what it’s like to keep functioning while your body quietly runs on empty. It’s so easy to do but seems to always catch up with us in some way.

The sessions I offer are not classes.

They’re small, structured, guided nervous system regulation sessions — gentle spaces to slow down, breathe properly again, and come out of constant “on mode”.

Our nervous system shapes how we sleep, cope with stress, regulate emotions, think clearly and feel safe in the world. When it never rests, everything feels harder.

People often tell me they leave sessions feeling calmer, lighter, clearer, less reactive and more like themselves again — not because anything was fixed, but because their system finally rested. It’s what I practise and it works.

Alongside the group sessions, bookings are now open online for Holistic Counselling, specialising in deeper support for women and men in mid-life — a time that often brings unexpected change, increased pressure and big inner questions.

I work with only 5 counselling clients per week and integrate nervous system support, meditation-based therapy and more. I do offer a free 15-minute chat if you’d like to talk things through first, to see if it’s a fit for you.

Many clients share that counselling has helped them feel less overwhelmed, think more clearly, sleep better, and cope more steadily with work, relationships and family life.

My mission this year is to help you understand your nervous system even more, learn practical tools for real life, for change and reconnect mind, body and spirit in a grounded real deal way.

Because lasting change always begins within…

Look forward to seeing you. Bookings are now open online!
