Current Retrograde Status (Right Now)
As of late March 2026, most retrogrades have just ended, and we are now in what astrologers call a post-retrograde shadow period. 
Recently retrograde planets:
• Mercury Retrograde: Feb 26 – Mar 20, 2026
• Jupiter Retrograde: Nov 2025 – Mar 11, 2026
Both have now gone direct, but Mercury remains in its shadow period until April 9, 2026, which means lingering delays, past issues resurfacing, and unfinished business being resolved. 
What This Means Energetically
This period is typically associated with:
• Clearing up miscommunication
• Finalising paperwork or decisions
• People from the past reappearing
• Technology or travel still slightly chaotic
• Emotional reflection (Mercury was in Pisces)
Many astrologers consider shadow period sometimes more important than the retrograde itself because it’s when things resolve or become clear.
