The holiday season can be a challenging time for many. Small gestures of kindness, like being there for someone, can help them feel seen, heard, and less alone.
Loneliness, grief, stress, or anxiety can all feel stronger at this time of year. Even a simple message, call, or small act of support can have a big impact.
When someone feels isolated or in crisis a single compassionate conversation can mean the difference between a breaking point and a turning point.
Help us be there for every call this Christmas.

Right now, someone in our community needs help more than ever.
Every December and January, our Crisis Support Centre receives more calls from people in distress than at any other time of the year.
They reach out because they don’t know where else to turn — what they’re really asking for is connection, understanding, and a moment of safety.
Our Crisis Supporters are there to listen without judgement, offer compassion, and provide a safe place to talk.
But we can only do this with the help of our community.
✨ Just $39 can answer a call from someone in crisis — and one conversation could change everything.
💙Your gift can bring comfort, connection and hope to someone doing it tough this Christmas.

Lifeline Northern Beaches was established almost 50 years ago to serve the area stretching from Kirribilli to Palm Beach (for more info on our area, click here). We’re an independent organisation with a local Board, a small number of salaried staff, and over 600 volunteers, who provide invaluable support. Lifeline Northern Beaches is also a Public Benevolent Institution, registered with the Australian Charities and not-for-profits commission.
