My friends say I’m quirky.
I see myself as someone who can laugh at herself.

I love making faces.
Laughing loud.
Laughing with others.
Being im-perfect… (or maybe I’m perfect?? 😄)

And yet…
for a while, I fought that part of me.

I hid it.
(Not all the time though…)

I felt ashamed of it at times.
I edited myself.

Some said,
“You are too much.”
Others said,
“You are not enough.”

And for a while… I believed both.

So I dimmed my light.

But life has a way of bringing us back ✨

Through unexpected paths,
and little by little…
I found my way back to myself.

So here I am.

Sharing this with you
in case you’ve ever felt the same.

Because you and I… we’re not that different.

Human beings,
learning how to live, every day 💖.

There are no mistakes.
You are not here by chance!

If you’ve been dimming parts of yourself, you’re not alone.
This is the work we do… coming back to who you really are.

Taking a deep breath is not the fastest way to calm down
I know… that’s what we’ve all been told.
“Just take a deep breath.”
And I get it. It sounds simple.
But when a deep breath means a fast, forceful inhale, especially through the mouth, it can actually stimulate your stress response even more.
That’s why people end up needing to take “deep breaths” every few minutes, and why so many become habitual shallow or anxious breathers without realising it.
I honestly haven’t seen consistent, lasting calm come from that approach alone.
So what actually works?
A light, soft inhalation through the nose.
Followed by a longer, slow, controlled exhale.
Even one extended exhalation can slow your heart rate, settle your nervous system, and bring a sense of centredness and focus in the moment.
So let me ask you:

Can you sit with the feeling… ❤️
and hold yourself through it?
Can you feel anxiety without immediately trying to fix it, escape it, or silence it?
Sometimes it really does feel like “too much.”
And that’s okay.
The inner work is not about never feeling overwhelmed.
It’s about building the capacity to stay with yourself when you do.
To breathe.
To soften.
To remind yourself: this feeling is intense, but it is temporary.
Nothing is here to destroy you.
And even if you feel like you’re breaking for a moment…
you also have the power to heal, through your presence, through your awareness, through the love you’re learning to offer yourself.
Anxiety doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means something in you is asking to be held.

Our Story

The Love Approach Project was created by me, Laura Gutiérrez, to support others in their sacred inner journey, helping them in returning to their hearts and in healing from the past. It all began as a way for me to share the experience of my own process of healing and of learning to love myself again. I conceived The Love Approach Project to be a place in which we can all be nurtured and heal, as well as space in which we can all strengthen our spiritual connection to the Source of all creation. My aim with The Love Approach Project is to reach and touch hearts and lives that are ready to let go of what's not needed anymore, and that are open to receive and reconnect with our true nature: love. Here’s what I can do for you

Understand why you are where you are and identifying your next steps can be tough. I can help you open your path once again: clarify what’s in your mind, focus your energy on what matters. Reconnect your heart and your brain is key to make you feel more confident about your choices and learn how to trust your inner guidance.

I can help you fall in love with yourself again, let go of the past, forgive, heal your heart, release stress and old conditioning, find your centre, reconnect with your emotions, listen to your heart, and find your peace.

Energetically, after having worked with me, you will trust yourself more and know how to listen to your emotions, to your body and to your heart. You will step into the version of you who allows healing to take place, who embraces change and who loves life!
